BMC conducts mass cleanliness drive near Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar(25/09/2025): In a bid to boost cleanliness, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday launched a large-scale mass cleanliness drive in the city.

The initiative was conducted in front of the Bhajan Mandap of Lord Lingaraj Temple. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi joined the programme, lending his support to the effort.

Hundreds of BMC sanitation workers also participated, cleaning and sprucing up the temple surroundings. Organised under the “Cleanliness is Service” campaign, the drive aims to promote public participation and highlight the importance of maintaining hygienic and beautiful public spaces across Bhubaneswar.
