Alert in Puri due to Cyclone 'Montha'

Puri(26/10/2025): Sea bathing has been prohibited till October 29 in Puri. The district administration has taken the step keeping in mind the safety of tourists. If anyone disobeys and enters the sea, strict action will be taken. If the situation worsens, entry to the beach area may also be restricted. In Ganjam, the district administration has directed officials not to leave headquarters till October 30. Employees on leave have been instructed to report back to duty immediately. A total of 110 cyclone shelters have been kept ready in the district.
