Silence Zone declared in Cuttack ahead of Kali Puja immersion

Cuttack(23/10/2025): Ahead of the famous Kali Puja immersion, certain areas in Cuttack city have been declared as silence zones. The area near City Hospital under Dargha Bazaar police limits has been designated as a silence zone. According to Police Commissioner S.Devdatta Singh, 50 platoons of police force and 60 special tactical units will be deployed across the city.

Special arrangements will be made in sensitive areas of Cuttack. The city will be under drone and CCTV surveillance along with rooftop police deployment.

Central forces will also be engaged, the Police Commissioner added.
