Low-Pressure Likely to Form Over Bay of Bengal by October 21

Bhubaneswar(19/10/2025): A cyclonic circulation is currently active over the southeast Bay of Bengal and is likely to develop into a low-pressure area by October 21.

It may further intensify into a depression by October 23. Under its impact, Odisha may experience rainfall for three days starting from October 24. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) is yet to make any forecast about the possible formation of a cyclone.
