
PM Modi inaugurates India Mobile Congress 2025
New Delhi (08/10/2025): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the ninth edition of India Mobile Congress 2025 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The event organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications and the Cellular Operators Association of India under the theme "Innovate to Transform" highlights India's emphasis on leveraging innovation to drive digital growth and societal transformation. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, "IMC has become the largest digital technology forum in Asia.This success story has been written by India's tax saving mindset and led by Indian youth.We are providing funds for our start-ups via our schemes like digital innovation square." The four-day congress will feature the latest in telecom and emerging technologies, bringing together more than 1.5 lakh visitors from over 150 countries, over 7,000 global delegates and 400 companies.
